About me...

I’m a Leeds girl living in Knaresborough, close to Harrogate. I love being out in nature and going on adventures in Pepper our camper van, but equally I enjoy taking it slow, being on the sofa, cosy with a cup of tea watching Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or Star Wars! I am obsessed with soup (and bread obvs), I eat it all year round, no matter what the season… crazy right?! and I cannot resist any cake that contains Biscoff when I'm out and about!

My journey into birth work started after having my first baby and tbh it was a bit of a car crash (you can read more about that here). I was broken physically and mentally and I deep down, I knew it didn’t have to be this way and that every mum deserved better! I knew being a doula was my calling so I started reading, learning, and opening my eyes to just how amazing birth could be.

 

When I gave birth to my daughter just under two years later, it was everything I’d hoped for… healing and transformative. YES I did it! (Read more here).
No one should have to wait for baby number two to feel that way!

 

The way we birth stays with us forever. I want you to feel anchored and amazing in that moment and not afraid of it. My mission is to bring women back in touch with their intuition and wisdom so they trust their bodies completely. 

 

Alongside all things birth, pregnancy and postpartum I am really into anything holistic health related, alternative therapies etc. I can get lost in it all a bit cos there is just so much to learn! One of my faves is Ayurveda “the science of life” this ancient Indian medicine system has helped me so much in recent years when I was severely depleted and ill with autoimmune conditions (read more on this here). It’s so powerful and interesting. My postpartum care is rooted in this.
